Terms and Conditions of Service

Please read the following Terms and Conditions carefully as they outline the contractual responsibilities of you and us. By signing the membership agreement in your Welcome Pack you are confirming that you have read, understood and accept these Terms and Conditions.

Two for Joy is a personal introduction and matching service that is available to adults over the age of eighteen. There is no upper age limit for applicants. We aim to deliver tailor made packages to suit our client’s requirements and ever changing needs. All applicants will be personally vetted and matched according to their profile and service requirements. All members will have provided proof of ID and address prior to membership being approved by us. A chaperone service is available for first introductions.


We are registered with The Information Commission Office and comply with the requirements of General Data Protection Regulations May 2018. Information given to you relating to other clients should be regarded as private and confidential and must not be viewed by or discussed with anyone else during or after your membership with us. Payment Terms

Cash, Personal cheque, Bankers Draft, BACS Transfer and Credit and Debit card are all acceptable methods of payment. Payment must be made at the point of profile photographs been taken. Registration will be for a 12 month period and will officially commence on the 1st of the following month.

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you may cancel your application for a service within 14 days, by giving us written notice or by informing us by telephone. The 14 days will commence the day after you sign your membership agreement. In this event, a full refund of the registration fee will be given by BACS transfer or cheque. However, if you have requested that we begin work, on the service you are requesting from us, during the cancellation period, you will be charged an amount which will be in proportion to the work that has been carried out up to the point that you informed us that you were cancelling your contract with us.

Termination of Agreement and Refunds Policy

You have the right to terminate your membership at any time for any reason, however the registration period is for twelve months and no refunds will be given for services underway.

We reserve the right to terminate your membership if you breach the terms and conditions of this agreement and in such circumstances no refunds will be given.

Verbal or physical abuse, or discrimination relating to other clients or staff members disability, age, race, colour, religion, sexuality or gender will not be tolerated and will result in the offender’s membership being terminated.

We are entitled to investigate and terminate your membership if you have behaved in any way that could be regarded as inappropriate towards one of our clients or a member of our staff. All incidents of any behaviour by any of our members that you feel to be inappropriate should be reported to a member of our staff immediately.

Please note that Memberships are non-transferrable.

Registration & Service Provided

During the 12 months registration, we will aim to provide unlimited introductions to match your profile and as far as possible meet your specific stipulations. We cannot guarantee that persons matched will meet the exact specifications you requested and as such cannot be held responsible for your dissatisfaction with the match provided. In the unlikely event that we cannot provide a minimum of 6 introductions, we will extend your registration free of charge.

Profiles will only be sent out one at a time. If another profile is available, it will not be sent out to you, until you have informed us of your decision that the current profile does not meet what you are looking for.

Members have the right to suspend their membership for a minimum of 1 month and a maximum of 12 months. It is your responsibility to inform staff when you are wanting to place your membership on hold and when you are ready to continue. If at any time we are unable to contact you and you do not respond to our attempts to contact you for up to 4 weeks, your membership will be placed on hold at this point and will not resume until you make contact. Your membership may also be put on hold if we find it necessary to investigate any aspect of your membership. Membership will not be allowed to exceed 2 years from the initial commencement date, regardless of the period of suspension or the number of introductions received.

All meetings/interactions between you and others matched to you through ‘Two for Joy Introductions Ltd’ are at your own risk and are not our responsibility. This also includes those where a chaperone service is provided. We cannot guarantee that all information given to us by other client’s is accurate, although we do take steps to check. Therefore, you must take appropriate precautions and follow the safety guidance provided in your welcome pack. We reserve the right, but have no obligation, to monitor disputes between clients.

Chaperone Service

A chaperone service will be available to you, for a 1 hour period, for all first introductions and the cost of this can be found on our pricing structure sheet, included in your membership pack.. One of our consultants will liaise with you and the other party to make arrangements regarding the date and time. Such introductions will need to take place at a meeting place pre-approved by us. We will not provide transport.

We cannot be held liable for any delay or cancellation of our chaperone service that is due to reasons beyond our control. In this event we will contact you as soon as possible and re-schedule.

Social Media

You must not post any photos/videos, or any other form of information on Social Media Sites, that could identify any of our clients without first obtaining their consent.

Intellectual Property

The logo and all contents of the advertising material remain the sole property of ‘Two for Joy Introductions Ltd’ and must not be reproduced in any way without our prior written permission.


We reserve the right to make changes to the service from time to time, provided that they do not have a material adverse effect on the quality of our service.

We will try to resolve any complaints we receive, quickly and efficiently. In the event that clients are not happy with the resolution, the complaint can be referred to the Dating Agency Association.
